Good Morning Crazy Cousins!! We have about 42 degrees outside of Police Headquarters. We will be close to 54 degrees today with the sunshine visible at times. We have no delays, incidents or arrests to discuss at this time. Today is October 22nd, 2014. The 2015 Brimfest Crazy Cousins Reunion and Veterans Welcome Home Parade is Saturday, September 19, 2015. It may be the largest veterans welcome home parade ever. We will have hotel info THIS WEEK. On this date in the year 1883 the original Metropolitan Opera House in New York City had a grand opening. It may surprise some of you…I like opera. I think it is very entertaining and there is some real talent performing in those operas. I was sad to see Jason leave General Hospital, though. What? Wrong opera? The word for the day is…realpolitik (rey-AHL-poh-li-teek). The word means, “practical politics or political realism. I like his character in the movie “The Dream Team.” They were mental patients who went to a baseball game. Danger and hijinks ensued. Happy Birthday to TobyMac (Christian rapper), Jonathan Lipnicki (actor) and Brian Boitano (skater). Jonathan was the little guy in the movie Jerry Maguire.
