Good Morning :D So let the challenge begin! I have been all over the place with my foods lately, not that I have gone off the deep end with the junk :D Just having stuff that I normally would not eat in a somewhat experiment to see how I do with simply tracking calories and macros. Pair that up with a very stressful couple of weeks trying to get certain work related things done, learn new stuff for my classes and oh also take care of my kids and family and home and yadda yadda yadda....you know the deal. Busy, stressed, not eating ,eating too much, eating wayyyy late and so on. So yeah, not working that great as I seem to have eaten things and been cool with its as long as it is within the macro/calorie boundaries. So heres the thing, I have an issue with food. There I said it. I do. I love it, and when I let sweet stuff in the door I am on a slippery slope to a bad food binge. i can feel it coming. So its time for me to reign it all in. Stand up for the progress I have made and clear my head of all of this. So yes, you do the IIFYM way of life? Good for you, I myself have to, need to have a clean eating plan of attack. Its just the way I stay healthy. There are some people who CAN eat just a bite, or one little sweet thing. I am not one of them, now I am not saying by any means that I have no control over myself. I do, my story should be proof enough of that. What I am saying and I think maybe more of us should own up to it, is that I am an emotional eater, a stress eater and when i let it go for too long it makes it harder and harder to get back to what I KNOW is best and what I KNOW my body craves, needs and functions best on. REAL WHOLE FOODS!!!! Not a failure. Have not ruined my progress. Its not over. NOPE! So before anything else I am making it a priority this month to really really be present and aware of what and HOW I am eating. Making sure to eat enough, hydrate, and not to make any excuses. No processed foods. NONE PEOPLE! I feel better, my work outs are better and well its just all BETTER :D If you want to join me, if you feel like a little support would benefit you, let me know :D I will start a private group for us all and we will kick May in the butt with being awesome!!!!
