Good Morning Everyone!!! LIFE’S MASTERPIECE How we live our life is much like creating a wonderful and masterful work of art. Let’s view it in this way; Life is your canvas and the brush strokes you utilize shall be the actions you take as you continue your journey within it. To some people, life can be hard, cruel and merciless. They may see life as a form of punishment throughout their entire existence. They therefore resign themselves to fate, believing all is finished and nothing more may be done to change the outcome. Upon their canvas are the colors of darkness where grays and blacks are strewn wildly onto its surface. They have given up and choose to become withdrawn only to suffering and misery. Not a very pretty picture is it? But there are those who see life in a different light; as a challenge, as a channel of discovery and innovation, as a prospect for success and a gateway to prosperity and hope.To them life is sweet, colorful and kind. No matter the situation, these people find a strength within themselves, they press forward believing in a cause, a cause to grow and receive the most out of life. They are the ones who never gave up on the old adage, “Where there is life, there is hope.” Thusly, they have set their brush to the canvas with light and colors unimaginable as they proceed to embellish it every spectrum of color which has been so gracefully gifted them in life. Here...the masterpiece begins! The will to succeed or fail lies within each and every individual.You can live life to the fullest with utmost satisfaction and fulfillment if you determine with all that is you, to succeed no matter the adversities you may face. Though the true beauty which surrounds you may be hard to define, it is easy to recognize once you choose to embrace it and to apply it to your canvas. In nature beauty may be discerned in all things and places, even in the most unexpected regions of the earth.There is beauty in the variety of flowers, birds, animals and plants, many of which are vividly colorful. There is beauty in the mountains, valleys and hills, meadows and skies, sparkling brooks and oceans. But the beauty which exists within each of us is the most elegant and wondrous thing we can ever encounter. When we opt to see it, when we choose to use it and to brush it upon our canvas...the masterpiece begins. Humankind has searched throughout time and across this vast and great planet for beauty such as this. Whether it is solely for inspiration or just the fact that they do not see it in their lives now, they seek it out no matter the sacrifices that may manifest. Is it the appreciation of natural beauty that impels men to visit distant lands which have an inherent beauty all their own or is it that they are just missing the overall picture? The poet finds music and beauty in the melodious movement of the clouds and whispering winds. The writer has deep appreciation of the beauty that exists within his mind which impels him to give utterance to it in a most expressive and picturesque language, which is itself often of imperishable beauty. The artist sees beauty in almost all things as they set their brush or pencil to whatever sets upon the easel, bringing it to life. The sun has set, and the long yellow grass waves dreamily in the evening wind. A glance up at the pinks and reds of the sky finds a wild bird flying from an old gray cliff as it soars towards the horizon. Thus...the masterpiece begins. Even within the lonely landscape, where there is no light and no sound but for the echoing wind frantically blowing leaves to and fro, there is a spiritual and exquisite beauty. The earthly scents bring about an inner and mystical spirit. The passing clouds overhead create a calm which seems almost magical.The moon reflects upon the grasses as the rustling leaves and brush sing their hypnotic melody. Beneath it all there is a perfect charm, a perfect virtue and a perfect harmony created. For those that see this true beauty in life, for those who wish to create it and live within it, for those that choose to paint the colors of harmony upon their canvas, for those who give of themselves to make a better world, for those that love and care, for those who dream and keep the hope alive...the masterpiece begins! ~Gary~
