Good Morning Everyone Running late Not make S/S but will Church. One of our main goals as a unbeliever and a believer is to make personal contact with our Master Jesus Christ. As a believer it should be the chief aim and objective to have this personal contact with Christ. For it is our duty to deny ourselves, pick up our crosses and follow Jesus where ever He wants us to go. If we do not have this close personal contact, how are we going to know what He has in store for our lives? That is the failing of believers in this world today and that is why our world is so evil. There are plenty of people who come to the house of worship and sit through a service, and do so in a self righteous fashion. They may even have joined a church. They are baptized, yet not by the Holy Spirit. They have been immersed in water, but they never have been buried with Christ in baptism, nor have they risen again with Him into a newness of life. To them, reading, singing, kneeling, listening to what they want to hear are enough. They are contented with the shell but they know nothing of the blessed spiritual kernel that God has for them They press in and around Jesus but they do not touch Him, They do not come in contact with Him They are outward, external hearers only, but there is no inward touching of the blessed person of Christ, no spiritual contact with the ever blessed Savior. No stream of life and love flowing from Him to them. It is a mechanical religion. They know nothing of the vital godliness that is offered. I ask you Believer, is this your kind of relationship you have with our loving Lord Jesus Christ? God is good
