Good Morning FB Friends! Hope everyone had a great day yesterday. Looked like there was plenty of reflection taking place since it was Ash Wednesday. We should constantly be cleansing our soul and our bodies. But - I guess Ash Wednesday is a good starting point. Speaking of cleansing - some people have asked me if I am worried about comments I make regarding politics. The answer is NO. I post what I feel. Our area is in trouble and unless more people start speaking up and getting involved - we will continue to be in trouble. For many years I have heard people complain but they dont seem to want to rock the boat for fear something may happen. Well - I have shared with them and I will share with you - dont fear for cleansing your mind and speaking what you feel. I have spoken to so many people that agree with me that we need changes and we need to hold some of our elected officials accountable. We cant afford to have the good old boys in office that are not getting the results needed. We need to make changes and not be threatened or scared on what others may think- say or do. If you are tired with the current direction we are going in our area - step up and do something about it. If we as a community continue in our current direction- we will be living on a slippery slope for many years. While other communities are moving forward and progressing- our community is living in the past and missing out on great opportunities. So - while we cleanse our souls and our bodies during lent - let us also take the time to cleanse our community to change the direction we are heading. We have a great community and one that deserves much better.
