Good Morning Facebook Family And Friends. See this lady in the pictures. This is my mom mom. My mothers mom. The picture on the right is of her this past June 2014 when she turned 96 years old. Yes, ninety-six! Isnt she beautiful. Early in the morning this past Friday, my mom mom went on to be with the Lord. Im only sad because Im already missing her. At the same time I smile because of all the good memories. I thank God for her influence in my life. Let me tell you something. Mom mom was always fly and always drove the latest model cars. Her hair, her clothes, her shoes, she always looked good. And she knew it! If you needed her, shed always show up. She volunteered and was an active member of so many organizations. She was able to retire early as a teacher for the Philadelphia Public Schools. Mom mom did what she wanted, the way she wanted to do it. A very mentally, emotionally and spiritually strong woman. She took no mess, from anybody, from anywhere. Ever! Yes, thats where my mom, my aunt, me and my cousins get it from. Were not punks, because of mom mom. Every home needs a mom mom and she was an integral part of all of ours, her family. Mom mom was a little bit parent, a little bit teacher, a little bit friend and everything a mom mom should be for me. She traveled. She truly lived. She had a full life. Im proud of my mom mom and am patterning my life after hers. R.I.P Armentris P Taylor-Evans. I love you.
