Good Morning, Family. Its Meditate On It Monday Pt. 6 Psalm 119:97-100 97 Oh, how love I Your law! It is my meditation all the day. 98 You, through Your commandments, make me wiser than my enemies, for [Your words] are ever before me. 99 I have better understanding and deeper insight than all my teachers, because Your testimonies are my meditation. 100 I understand more than the aged, because I keep Your precepts [hearing, receiving, loving, and obeying them]. Love is reciprocal. When we love receiving and meditating on Gods Love Letter to us, His Word; He responds by revealing to us His plans, strategies, wisdom, purpose, etc., through His Word. His love runs deeper than the ink on the pages or the font on the computer screen! His Word is Spirit and Life (see John 6:63). Our motives for meditating on Gods Word, should be to know what to do in every situation that will bring glory and honor to God. It is NOT to gloat over our teachers or instructors. Another motive for meditating on Gods Word is to be ready to respond to those without hope. Those without hope may be held hostage by their history and incapable of a positive imagination. Meditation molds imagination. We are instructed, But in your hearts set Christ apart as holy [and acknowledge Him] as Lord. Always be ready to give a logical defense to anyone who asks you to account for the hope that is in you, but do it courteously and respectfully. One of the major ways that we set apart or sanctify The Lord in our hearts is by meditating on His Word. Then, when others ask us the reason of the hope thats in us, we can answer them, as well as offer them help in how they can have hope. Its Meditate On It Monday, Family.
