Good Morning, Family. Its YOU Are My Song! Monday Exodus 15:2 The Lord is my Strength and my Song, and He has become my Salvation; this is my God, and I will praise Him, my father’s God, and I will exalt Him. (AMP) The Lord is my strength and my song; he has given me victory. This is my God, and I will praise him—my father’s God, and I will exalt him! (NLT) Then Moses and the Israelites sang this song toGod, giving voice together, I’m singing my heart out to God—what a victory He pitched horse and rider into the sea. God is my strength, God is my song, and, yes! God is my salvation. This is the kind of God I have and I’m telling the world! This is the God of my father—I’m spreading the news far and wide! Exodus 15:1-2 (MSG) Have you ever been either riding in the car, at the club, or maybe even at home when your favorite song comes? For some of us, our immediate reaction is this stop what were doing, throw my hands up in the air, bow our heads, and boldly declare, Thats my song! we then, begin dancing, clapping our hands, or snapping our fingers (sometimes simultaneously, and usually with our eyes closed). In that moment, we are bold, we are confident, we are at peace, and all is perfect in our universe. What would you say, if I told you that The Lord wants us to have the same response when He shows up on the scene? He has given us guarantee that is good, no matter what were going through. Here it is: You will guard him and keep him in perfect and constant peace whose mind [both its inclination and its character] is stayed on You, because he commits himself to You, leans on You, and hopes confidently in You. (Isaiah 26:3) I believe that God will also keep us in perfect peace, if we sing about Him and to Him. After all, He did promise that he inhabits the praises of his people (see Psalms 22:3). According to Strongs Exhaustive Concordance, the Hebrew word zimrah (zim-raw) is song. It can also mean instrumental music. It is derived from the word zamar, which is defined as melody, song (in praise of Yah). It can also mean to sing praises, to make music Our Heavenly Father is always ready to rescue us, restore us, and revive us. Hes just waiting for us to say the right things, see the right things, and sing the right things. Its YOU Are My Song! Monday, Family. Lets let Him know that we love Him, and trust Him; by singing Him songs of praise.
