Good Morning. Happy Friday! If you are into the Cliven Bundy saga he will be on CNN this morning defending his comments about Negroes. Bundys comments matter because so many conservatives hailed him as a crusader against an intrusive federal government. Republicans are trying to attract minorities to the GOP -- their association with this guy wont help. Hot words from Barack Obama this morning show increasing frustration with Russia over the Ukraine. This, while Washington and Europe stand on the brink of issuing new sanctions -- which appear to be working since Russias credit rating was slashed. Stay tuned. On a lighter note: Someone asked if President Obama would save a drowning Putin. This was in response to Russian President Vladmir Putin’s recent comment that he’d like to think that President Obama would save him if he were drowning, President Obama chuckled and said, “I’d like to think that if anyone is drowning I’d save them.” According to Reuters: ..The search for missing Malaysia Airlines Flight MH370 is likely to drag on for years, a senior U.S. defence official said on Friday, as an underwater search for any trace of the planes wreckage off west Australia appeared to have failed. …The official, who declined to be identified because he is not authorised to comment on the search effort, said two weeks of scouring the Indian Ocean floor with a U.S. Navy submersible drone had turned up no wreckage...
