Good Morning. Happy Friday! Im going camping this weekend. I will be sleeping in a tent. Eating marshmallows by the fire. And wondering why I went camping. In the news this morning: The deal to deescalate the violence in Ukraine took a hit this morning. Earlier today, pro-Russian separatist leader Denis Pushilin in Donetsk defied that deal for protesters to vacate seized buildings and lay down their arms, calling for the Kiev government to step down. So...the drama continues. In South Korea, the tragedy deepens. The ferry has now completely sunk under the water. Rescue workers still have hope but it is fading. Were hearing the Captain and two crew members will soon be placed under arrest for fleeing the sinking ship. Also, the Vice Principal of the Danwon high school where many of the missing passengers on a sunken ferry attended has been found hanging from a small tree near the gymnasium where passenger’s families are gathered, police in Jindo said Friday. The 52-year-old man name Kang Min Kyu was on board the ferry Sewol along with more than three hundred students from his school, on a trip from Incheon to Jeju island when the ship sank. Police say that he appears to have hung himself with a belt some time after he went missing Thursday. A representative from the school’s emergency response center told CNN that the man was among the people initially rescued from the ship. The Bluefin-21 is back underwater in Australia. Nothing found yet. It has now been 42 days. Police made an arrest in Missouri in that series of highway shootings. No name released. But we know they suspect a man is responsible for shooting out at least 12 vehicles. See you at 9 and 10 AM ES.
