Good Morning~~~Have A Wonderful Day~~~Be Honest Is Lying Ok With Our Lord; Along with everything else our Country has become ok with lying seems to be an accepted way of life. Do we really believe the Lord is ok with any lies, untruths, exaggerating to make things go our way? The answer is no, not even little innocent little white lies. Keep in mind little white lies end up more often than not become big lies. I never understood people not wanting to go somewhere and saying “the kids are sick can’t go”. How awful that parents are willing to lie about their children being sick. That’s asking for a fall. America is at a stage where honesty is being trampled in the dust. It is much more fundamental than that. We have lost the concept of absolute, God-given truth. Ignorance and disrespect of truth are the knife carving away the fabric of our society. If you look the other way you become part of the problem and not the solution. Because so many have looked away, justice is on the junk pile, righteousness is rare, and equity is gone. In God’s word we are given instructions for living our life in a proper, a clean, a true fashion. There is no reason to ignore the Lord’s commands. When we live as he tells us we are filled with much more peace, joy, and honesty. Also if we don’t lie we don’t have to remember what we told to which person. If your telling the truth, the way it happened the Lord will guide you through whatever the circumstances. Keep in mind we can fool people, family, friends (although if we lie enough we don’t really fool them), but the Lord knows all, sees all, judges all. We are not able to fool him in anyway. Think back over the last 10 years. Can anybody deny that judgment, righteousness, and equity has been thrown out the window? If you catch yourself doing this pray, work at being truthful, work at being as the Lord wants and it will become easier. It will be a blessing and easy. Isaiah 59:13 In transgressing and lying against the LORD, and departing away from our God, speaking oppression and revolt, conceiving and uttering from the heart words of falsehood. Isaiah 59:14 And judgment is turned away backward, and justice standeth afar off: for truth is fallen in the street, and equity cannot enter. Isaiah 59:15 Yea, truth faileth; and he that departeth from evil maketh himself a prey: and the LORD saw it, and it displeased him that there was no judgment. James 4:10 Humble yourselves in the sight of the Lord, and he shall lift you up. Ephesians 4:24 And that ye put on the new man, which after God is created in righteousness and true holiness. Ephesians 4:25 Wherefore putting away lying, speak every man truth with his neighbour: for we are members one of another. Philipians 4:7 And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus. Philippians 4:8 Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things.
