Good Morning Lord. Thank You for this day. It was a long weekend but we made it through. I want to thank You for allowing me to hear my favorite pastor speak this weekend. His message always touches my heart deep. And it always comes when I need it. This weekend’s event for Kaitlin has bought me a lifelong family of friends and a chance to see Joe and Leah – my clients from over 7 years ago. Their two girls are beautiful. Hard for me to believe that it has been 7 years since their wedding. Today – I want to pray a blessing over my friends, my family and myself Lord – not too sure I am doing it right, but I mean it wholeheartly. I want all of us to hear it and feel it. I want us to know and believe in the power of the blessing that was sent to me this weekend. Father – there is always a reason, always a plan – but we, we sometimes get lost, we get overwhelmed, we get confused and we let ourselves down – but You know these times, they have been written and told by You. I thank You for never, ever leaving us. Father today I lift my hand over my friends and family (and me). I thank You for placing every single one of them in my life. For letting them be Your instrument to bring me Your message, Your Love, Your Inspiration and You Hope. I thank You for all that You have made all of us to be – and bless us for what we will eventually become. We will be so much More, we will be Greater, Better and Stronger, especially in our journey with You. We will have more Faith, more Strength and more Courage to move those mountains with You right by our side. That we will find Peace in knowing that trying circumstances will only be for a short time – that there will be triumph for the trial. Thank You for letting us see Your Forgiveness – thank You for letting us see that our flaws and humanness is what makes us perfect in Your eyes – we could never be perfect – but we can try to be the best that we can. We all need You for we are nothing without You. Thank You for helping us to fight for what is Right, for what is Just, and for being a Blessing to others. Thank You for the Spirit of Giving that You have placed in our hearts – let that giving spirit explode towards all we meet – friends, family and strangers alike – for we are all brothers and sisters through You. Let all that besiege us this day, that which binds us – illness, addiction, depression, financial woes, a broke heart, loneliness, homelessness, those who are hungry, involved in abusive relationships, guilt, hopelessness – let all these chains be broken. Let us see Your Grace and Forgiveness first hand – let us feel it deep in our souls – let us find what we are needing and searching for – the most perfect and forgiving love of our Father. Let us see Your blessings and give us the true desire and means to share it with others. Thank You for our lives Father, thank You and Bless us all - the ones that have been here a lifetime with me, those who have been here for just short periods of time in my life, those who just pass by just for the quickest glance and finally those that are still to come – because that is Your plan. Bless us with family and friends that can speak Your Truth – Your Love for those that are needing that – Bless us to be the ones who will speak Your Truth and Your Love to others. Help us be the change in the world that we want and need to see. Help us to be the stronghold against the evil in the world. Bless us to be what we can and will be - Strong in Your Name - Unshakable, and Unmovable in You. Let us be Bold in speaking Your name and Let us show others that You love them too – Bless us Lord to do Your work willingly, eagerly. Bless us to be unafraid and unashamed and to share Your Love for You have nor ever will, leave us. Bless us with compassion, forgiveness and all the qualities that will help us be more of You and less of ourselves. Bless us to be a blessing to others. Thank You for fulfilling Your will in each of us. Lord I come to You today, as I do all the time – for Your guidance, for Your words, and for the safety of my friends and family. In Your Name I pray! Amen.
