Good Morning Nebraska Peeps!! I really want to introduce you to a doe that I have nick named Queeny. she is the biggest and the most beautiful doe out on the river where I go for my sunrise walks. Although I adore her.... Im pretty sure she HATES me. We meet up often out in the river, usually catches us both off guard. She snorts at me, stomps her feet at me... course Im in the mid. of the river so no where to go. After a sec or two she starts to stroll right in front of me as if to say shes not afraid of me. Usually once close she does that hoity-toity high-step until shes reached the bank and then hides in the bushes and snorts at me some more. Since she acts so high and mighty I call her Queeny. Ive been watching her for 3 years now. One year she had twins, the other year she had one. Every Spring I hope to find her and know that she was not a hunters prize. I havent had a chance to go look for her yet this year since I got the new lens. Crossing my fingers for warm mornings to go walking in the Platte. Shes too special to just post a shot of her and not tell you about her. Wish me luck at finding her again soon.... have a wonderful weekend everyone!
