Good Morning, Read and Meditate on Proverbs 31:10-31 Reflection after Reading: These days it is very difficult to find a partner to build a family and spend the rest of ones life. We live in a world that lacks discipline and fear of God. Global secular culture has taken over and people believe they can do what ever they want. Recently I listened to a CD called; Contraception: Cracking the myths by Janet E. Smith. Please try and listen to that CD, Im sure it can be found online. It was very informative and sheds light on how contraception and total liberty destroys marriages. In summary, we do things we are not supposed to do before marriage and expect to get good results. Marriages these days pack up within three years all because we ignore all the precautionary measures that safeguards a marriage and leads to a long, happy and fruitful marriage. Women have a predominant role in all that makes for a happy home and allows persons who believe in life, to be formed and capable of serving the world. A woman makes the home, with wisdom, patience, hard work, obedience, submissiveness and faith. A good wife is not just about appearances; charm is deceptive and beauty useless; the woman who is wise is the one to praise (v.30). Wisdom comes from the knowledge of the word of God. There is no one who meditates and abides by the precepts of The Lord that can go astray. Anyone who finds a partner who knows God; who loves and fears God with their whole heart has found their ideal spouse. The scripture today, lists the numerous activities of women: happiness on earth depends on very little: care is needed and fidelity to tasks, also something not often insisted upon in our world today. It takes hard work to make a home but with The Lord, we have the strength to overcome all the challenges. When a man finds a good wife he should praise her and be grateful to her. Psalm of the week: Psalm 128 Prayer of the week: Lord, help us to discover our talents and to use them for our good and the good of others. Amen God bless you
