Good Morning Sentinels, Patriots, Friends, and fellow Americans YeeeeHaaaawww! We got this! Caint stop us now! We be on the downhill side. Dun got most of the week gone and only gots a little to go. We can handle this, right? C’mon, I can’t hear ya, RIGHT?? That’s better…… Got this fella at work who is a bit of an older gent, who for the most part I will call….cantankerous. He can be a bit difficult to deal with some of the time, well ok, MOST of the time. However, I have found that in the 3 or so years that I have been working around this person, the whole time showing him kindness and respect, he seems to have taken a liking to me and has “mellowed”, if I could use that word. Now he never has become a convert to the teachings of the Bible, yet, but he has changed. I tell you all this very short story to encourage you not to stop being kind, respectful, and caring to those around you, or strangers for that matter. They may never hear it from their lips, but they will definitely notice that you are different than the rest of the world. Sometimes we will see changes, sometimes these changes are quick, sometimes they may take years, and then there are times that you may never see a change. But be aware, that when they are alone in their thoughts, they will think about you and the way that you’re treating them, and how it is different. Heck, I bet there are times that a smile will even crack their hardened face. I know it has blessed there hardened heart. Bless someone with kindness today.
