Good Morning Team Serena Friends! We hope everyone had a safe and fun Halloween yesterday! Serena and her friend Bre went trick or treating and even saw her Dark Knight too. They had such a great time! Even though Serena was having fun, her hip was killing her but she pushed through it. She did take a break in the car and then once she got to her grandmothers house, she was done for the night. Monday we go to Childrens Hospital to see the doctor who did Serenas surgeries and to see the Sarcoma team there. I dont know what they will say when it comes to her pain that she has been having and the chronic nausea...but honestly, its ok, cause we have the appointment at Kennedy Krieger soon. Serena is more worried about the appointment with the doctor who did the surgeries than the oncology appointment right now. From what Serena has said to me, I too , am a little worried. I really am hoping that she wont have to have another surgery to fix the complications that the radiation caused. Serena is trying to just focus on getting through her Junior year of high school and looking at colleges. I will post again on Tuesday after her appointments.
