Good Morning. We recently featured this coin, but I was asked to feature it again. Here it is. A Guinea from 1698. It grades as GVF+ and is sold with an old ticket. The old ticket is from 1971, when the coin sold for £650. The price is now £2600. If you would like more information: ringramcoins/coins/guineas-534/guinea-9049.html William III was born in 1650and died in 1702. He was king of England, Scotland, and Ireland between 1689 and 1702. He was the son of William II, prince of Orange, stadtholder of the United Provinces of the Netherlands, and of Mary, oldest daughter of King Charles I of England. Williams personality was thought to be cold and his public policy calculating, but he was an able soldier and an astute politician, and his reign was of momentous constitutional importance.
