Good Morning World….the rain is gone and cool air is drifting in my windows along with wonderful sunshine! It is going to be a beautiful day! Office work consumed my morning but a visit with Beth Ann made my afternoon. Kevin was home from work by 3:30 as it was a light mail day. We chatted before he went to town to get feed. Sweet Alyson tagged along with Grandpa and kept him entertained! LOL She was here for dinner with us and that is always a treat. It wasn’t long before the three of us were in the barn lot doing chores and unloading feed. She pitched right in and cleaned Sophie’s stall. She was happy to be turned out on the pasture while the work was being done. Grandpa helped her turn pigs out in the walk pen so it would be easier to clean their pen. I had to laugh as she giggled as she scooped! Jacob came after weigh lifting and football to help finish up. His schedule is very tiring with sports and livestock but he never complains. I love how dedicated he is to what is important to him. I am planning on weeding my flower beds today. It is too wet to mow so I will tackle that chore tomorrow.
