Good Morning all. The voting is over!!! Now the political phone calls should stop! With no power from Sunday afternoon until Tuesday night my regular phone showing the caller ID didnt work so I had no way of who was calling. I would answer to hear a recorded message. Hate that. Oh well...... Thanks to all of the line workers and the tree crews who worked diligently to restore power. I did enjoy peace and quiet. Im luckier than some as I do have a small propane heater that kept me warm. At night I just added another quilt. Snug as a bug in a rug!!!! This snow storm was quite an eye opener! Lost more branches off the old big pine but at least they missed my rose bushes. Have noticed 3 or 4 branches have broken on the spruce tree at the corner of my yard. Well...I wanted to get some brush to put over my tea roses. God does have a way of showing the good along with some bad. I have a feeling one of the spruce branches that was bent down near the mailbox was preventing the carrier from leaving any mail. Took care of that. Hopefully she will leave me something besides Bulk Business Mail (Junk Mail) today. I have to admit, I do enjoy being snowed in at times...a good excuse not to have to go anywhere!!! Not exactly sure what today will hold but thats fine. Looking for some company later. Lots to do and finish up for the craft fair at the Community Center in Searsmont a week from Saturday..Nov. 15. Two weeks after that is the one at the Freedom Town Office Annex. Mt. View will be having their craft fair on Dec. 6. Can you imagine...175 crafters!!!!! I wish all of them well. Im not having a table there this year but will be attending. I enjoy walking around and seeing what others are making. Checking out the baked goods table. I love date/nut bread but hardly ever find any. Washer has stopped and need to put clothes in the dryer. Midget wants my attention, birds need to be fed and so do I! The one thing I really missed during the power outage was my cup of hot coffee first thing in the morning!!!! I pray for Gods blessings on all who read this. Enjoy your day.
