Good Morning, and Happy New Year from our home office here at Super Sled! We shut things down here yesterday for the New Years holiday.....well other than screening new members to the page........and are getting things organized to start rolling in 2015 at WOT. Lots in store for both Super Sled, and the Super Sled Speed Shop in the coming months, which well start reviewing over the next several days. Speaking of new members, Im not sure what the deal is, but Ive been flooded with requests to join the group over the past couple of days. We were sitting at 6,510 members 48 hours go, and have added 130 new members over that time period. Thats like 2% growth in two days! And those are just the members that made the cut, there were probably another 20 or so that didnt meet our membership criteria. Growth is great......to a point. We want to make sure we keep the group focused on high-speed, high-performance snowmobile activities and discussions. I cant monitor everything all of the time, so Id appreciate it if you all could help me keep things focused on our core group and intent. For you new members, welcome to Super Sled! Youll find some of the smartest and fastest snowmobilers on the planet here, and they are willing to share their knowledge and experience if asked nicely. We focus on the fast stuff: Drags, Speed Runs, Ice Ovals, and some vintage too. Our rules are pretty simple: 1. No bashing, excessive swearing, slurs, or baiting people into arguments. Its fine to disagree on topics, but do so with respect and manners. 2. No Classifieds, No ISO ads. We have our Super Sled Speed Shop for those, and we can also direct you into other swap meet pages where those ads are effective. Super Sled is an information page, not a selling page. 3. With the size of our group now, we encourage all of our members to restrict their new threads to 1-2 per day. If you can roll everything into one post/thread, so much the better. 4. Please check out our pinned threads at least once a day, as thats where I put the most pertinent group information, as well as important updates.
