Good Morning everyone and welcome back to Cecis page. Ceci is still away at camp but will be coming home tomorrow afternoon. I cannot wait to hear all about her adventures and all the wonderful things they have been doing at camp :-D I still can not believe that my girl has been away from home for a whole week of camp. She is growing up so fast ;-) It feels like just the other day i was writing about the first time she sat up on her own and now she is spending time away from mommy. Im so happy that she was given the opportunity to experience something so great! one week of camp runs around 1,000. We were very blessed to be offered the opportunity to apply for a scholarship through the Spina Bifida Association. Some very wonderful people took pledges for a marathon and donated scholarships for camp to the western Illinois Support Group that we attend. We would not have been able to afford this, so we are very grateful for their kindness. They also helped us with gas by providing a $100.00 Gas Card to cover the cost of the traveling. They made this week of fun possible for our girl and that makes my heart smile so very much. The kindness that people show always trumps all the hate, hurt and evil that also inhabits this world. These wonderful people gave Ceci something that she will never forget :-) I can not say thank you enough. Our little miss has to be picked up at 9am tomorrow so me and her little brother Nicholas will be heading back to Chicago tonight to stay the night with family. That a way we can rest after our 3 hour drive then get up in the morning and drive the 1 and a half drive from there to her camp, then 3 1/2 hours back to our house. Grandma Gluck is having a sleep over with Aiden which helps with the travels :-) Im going to get more cleaning and decluttering done today, take some more items over to our friend Connies for the Benefit Yard Sale this Saturday and Sunday, drop off Aiden to Grandmas then around 6:00 start our drive to Chicago.
