Good Morning from Heaven. One year ago today, Sandy Wayne was playing in her little cage outside while two of her new friends ate their breakfast. At the house in the forest, we hade many yard squirrels who came by every day to eat, and Sandy Wayne liked to watch them, but didnt like them touching her cage. All the babies are doing well this morning. I will try to get new pictures of the foster babies later today to post. Shaggy is doing real well, and thinks he is just as big as everyone else. He and Jazzy have bonded and are now inseparable. Jazzy likes to wrestle and play with her little foster brother, but loves people even more. She will be the PERFECT pup for someone who wants a companion pup. While these two play, Sarah keeps a safe distance as she watches this activity. She truly does not understand how to play like other pups do, and runs to the safety of her bed when it seems to get very active. Sarah loves to play and wrestle with Faith, who by the way seems a lot more active than both of these pups together. But I suppose since Sarah grew up with Faith she is comfortable with her. I am hoping she will learn from these other two pups and be able to blossom and enjoy a little more of her puppyhood. Sam, well he monitors everything very well, and is a grumbly old man when he thinks things are getting out of hand. When he lets out his commanding howl, everyone halts and takes heed to his instructions to settle down a bit. As for Roger, he comes into the family room about once a day when I put Faith in the bedroom. I am still trying to keep them separated, so I cant let him inside the main parts of the house most of the time. He doesnt like playing with the dogs, and lets them know that he is NOT a stuffed animals when they approach. He lays quietly, flipping his tail as they play, but the moment they try to bounce his way, he gives them the look along with a low growl. These pups are pretty smart, and quickly go the other direction. Roger likes other animals as long as he is not being bothered by them. We hope you have a great day.
