Good Morning reading the Names of God book by Ken Hemphill The tragedy in our day is that many people are still attempting to please God by their own merit. They are aware of their own sinful condition, but they hope they can be good enough or attend church frequently enough to atone for their sin. Others have looked to New Age philosophies for comfort, thinking that they might be reincarnated and have another chance at life. The Bible alone promises the only sure solution to our sin problem. We have been offered forgiveness by God himself. If we are to approach a holy God, We must do so on his terms. Since none are righteous and all are guilty of sin, a sinless sacrifice was required.
