Good Night Thought Its a craze and a race on social media these two days to flaunt your love for your mothers. Its sweet I have to admit to see loving words popping on the screens like little chicks hashing out of their eggs and seeing the world for the first time. Irrelevant I must say if ur mom was a dad, vice versa, or even criss cross, a parent is one of fundamental roles you will ever have to play in your life, both male and female equally. The absence of one is as great as the useless presence of the two figures. Parenting will never cease being a commitment no matter how many nannies you hire. Therefore, I think of those who lost their mothers on this day and pray that the nights turn out to be sweater upon their minds. I think of those in orphanages and hope their guardians see the gifts in them and never the curses. I ponder upon the children who will learn to be tougher sooner than the others because of the lack of the gentle touches and kisses of the mother. Hug yourself tight if you know the value of all that hooey Im scribbling down at midnight....and to those who keep saying that this world is a mother, you are absolutely wrong... A mother would close the eyes of her child at the atrocious scenes of human vile. A mother would protect her child from human vile. A mother would deliver the lessons about human vile before they hit home. The world simply abandons vile at your doorstep and expects you to scratch your head and figure it out with the little knowledge you earned. A mother is what I wish to become one day so I can be the teacher, the student, and the principle. I want to be the guide, the instructor, and the friend. I want to be the light, the maze, and the protective walls of the tunnel. I want to be the safety net, the chance giver, and the opportunity highlighter. To all my friends who have become mothers already, I salute you. May God grant you his blessings, all the patience you need, and all the wisdom required to pull through this lifelong journey.
