Good Saturday morning. Currently we sit under overcast and cloudy skies with scattered showers and temps in the mid 50s. We are expecting the clouds and showers to stick around for the morning and first half of our afternoon hours before we start to clear out between 3-5 pm. We are not looking at a total washout, but conditions are less than ideal for outdoor plans for the first half of our Saturday. We are expecting more showers to develop throughout the morning and early afternoon hours with temps staying on the cool side today. Daytime highs will struggle to rebound into the mid 60s. Clearing looks to take place later this afternoon as we progress into the evening hours. Right now, it looks like this system will be moving out of our region between 3-5 pm, with clearing skies taking place as we progress into the over night hours. Temps will dip into the low 50s for an overnight low. High pressure moves back in, setting the stage for the return of sunny skies come Sunday and Monday. Temps will remain below average with daytime highs in the upper 60s to low 70s both Sunday and Monday. Rain may return early next week. Much more on that as we progress in time.
