Good Saturday to all my wonderful, happy, special FB group. I woke up earlier this morning thinking the “cold” spell was gonna’ be here – NOT. I’m sorry to say this in front of all my special folks in the chilly North – it is t-shirt and shorts weather. Wish you were here. Don’t get me wrong, I LOVE the colors of Fall and the first snow fall in Winter but not the cold. To me the ideal weather would be about 75 or higher and snow. Anyway, I hope y’all are having a great day and are planning on having a wonderful weekend. Here are some more things to ponder in our Balance Sheet of Life: “(1) Our Heart is our Current Asset; (2) Our Soul is our Fixed Asset; (3) Our Brain is our Fixed Deposit; (4) Our Thinking is our Current Account; (5) Achievements are our Capital Character & Morals, our Stock-in-Trade; (6) Friends are our General Reserves; (7) Values & Behavior are our Goodwill; (8) Patience is our Interest Earned “ WOW, I think that #4, for me, is a little shaky! ☺☺ I hope all our ledger sheets are balancing up nicely. I’m a little/lot late today because I thought it would be a good idea for me to make a dry run on dishes that I’m going to make for Thanksgiving (I haven’t really cooked Thanksgiving dishes in a bazillion years). Well, after I took several aspirins and had several drinks (just kidding). Really I was nervous about cooking anything other than regular breakfast and dinner foods. I think I did OK. We’ll see when others do the taste test. Isn’t it funny how fixing special dishes for special occasions drive us crazy and then brightens our days? I hope y’all are having bright days and wonderful nights. Enjoy every minute, keep smiling and singing AND be careful and safe in all your travels and doings. .e
