Good Sunday Evening! After a one day reprieve of winter, it returns tomorrow and shows its force by midweek. *** A WIND ADVISORY is active for the NRC and Highlands until Noon Monday*** Tonight, until the strong cold front passes by our area, we’ll keep a chance for a lingering shower in the forecast. After the passage of the front, expect lingering clouds for a balance of the night with the skies attempting to clear by dawn. Overnight lows tonight, close to being back to average numbers, in the 30s overnight. Be mindful of the winds overnight. Sustained winds 10-15mph. Gusting as high as 21. Higher speeds on the ridgetops. Tomorrow, on the backside of the boundary, the skies will clear. Monday brings the first real day of sunshine since Thursday of last week. Another noticeable difference on Monday will be the breezes. Not as breezy as tonight, but still noticeable at 8-10mph. Temperatures, below average for tomorrow afternoon in the low-mid 40s. Looking ahead, Tuesday brings a few more clouds with the passage of a clipper system to our north Wednesday and Thursday bring the coldest air of the winter season so far. Temperatures struggle to get to 35. Overnight lows in the teens. Wind Chills will likely be a point of conversation by Wednesday Night. Stay warm!
