Good Sunday Morning People of God. Today I am going back to the - TopicsExpress

Good Sunday Morning People of God. Today I am going back to the familiar. This message, my Aunt Lady Coe preached. It was the very first sermon I heard her preach. It was also my very first sermon Ive ever preached. Our Sermon was, An In Spite of Praise. We both preached it from an angle of Praising God in spite of not because of...Scripture for this morning is Psalms 34:1. This morning, I am going to change the topic. Topic is TOTAL PRAISE! And I might be preaching to myself this morning. However, I never believe what I go through is strictly for me. But to encourage the Body of Christ at large. These past 8 months has been a struggle for me emotionally. Ive encountered some things that tested my faith, rocked my logic, raged war between good and evil, faced some challenges with family issues, focusing on the direction of ministry, suffered near death experience, struggled financially, been persecuted for righteousness sake in attempts of bringing unity of the faith, and the list continue. On top of all this, I had to face some past hurts and things I never received closure on. I went through a period of time I didnt think I was beautiful, strong, smart, anointed, or loved. It was rough. And I can not stand here today and tell you all, that everything is perfect... BUT I can tell you this. I will bless the Lord at all times, and his praise shall continually be in my mouth. This isnt one of those pity party messages looking for people to have pity on me...Because as a fully Affirmed Apostle...and Fully Consecrated Bishop of the Lords church, its not right if everything was perfect. However, how many of us know how to use everything..all our tests, trials, hurts, disappointments, heartaches, ups, and downs give God total praise? How many of us, know how not to offer a sacrifice of praise...BUT Give TOTAL Praise with all your substance? We have to get to a place where our total praise is all that matters. We have to get to a place where we trust God with all things. We have to get to a place where nothing else matters but our total praise. We can not wait till Sunday to get to church where our praise can be seen among men. Because its those kitchen praises that will always keep you eating. Its those living room praises that keeps you living. Its those dining room praises that keeps the communion of the Holy Spirit close. Its those bathroom praises that keeps you holy and righteous before the Lord. Its those office praises that keeps you employed. Its those bedroom praises that keeps your marriage in tact. Its those street praises that keeps your dwelling safe. Its those praises in your mind that keeps you from loosing it. Its those praises of your hearts that keeps you loving, forgiving, trusting, and leaning not on your own understanding. Its those praises of your soul that keeps you working out your salvation. Its those praises of your spirit that keep you worshiping him in spirit and in truth. Its those praises with your body that keep in in perfect health....AND today I stand where I am and lift my hands in TOTAL PRAISE TO HIM. Get to that place people of God that no matter what you are going through that they praise God with you. Well Apostle, how do I make my situation give God total praise? You go through every negative thing, and find its purpose. You find all the dry bones and declare them to live. You find the pits and turn them into palaces. You find the unrighteous and make them righteous. You find the unholy and make them Holy. You find all things that need to be surrendered to the perfect will of God, and make them holy and acceptable to that will. We seek ye first the Kingdom of God and all his righteousness..so everything can be added to us. We delight ourselves in the Lord, so he can give us the desires of our hearts...and while we are going through the process, we adopt, though they may slay me, YET will I trust him. And while we are going through the fire, we know the Son of God will not suffer us to be burned...And while we are being going through our seasons of lack...we declare not to be the borrower..but the lender...While we are going through loneliness....we reflect on God saying, he will never leave us nor forsake us. And we TOTALLY PRAISE HIM THROUGH IT ALL.... Apostle LaShonda C. Harrell Senior Pastor of The Upper Room Deliverance Ministries, TTAK
