Good Thursday morning to everyone in New England! We continue to - TopicsExpress

Good Thursday morning to everyone in New England! We continue to track a slow moving cold front this morning, which is bringing the threat for slow moving showers and convective precipitation as a result. At 8:09 AM, First Pulse Radar indicated a line of showers and heavy rain/convective precipitation extending vertically across Western New England, from Burlington, VT into Western & Central MA, and extending through Eastern CT. Most areas will see 1-2 of rainfall through tomorrow morning, however we continue to track the potential for higher amounts of 3-4 across Northern NH and Western ME. This intensive amount of rainfall may cause some localized flooding across the locations mentioned above, and it is important to stay tuned to the NWS, local media, and right here on NERWS for the latest watches and warnings (additional updates will be posted later today should conditions warrant). ~EW
