Good Tuesday Morning! We are clear, dry and mild once more. Temperatures range from the mid 60s to low 70s. Fog is a problem in Pineville where visibility is down to 3 miles, but everyone else is just going to run into a few small areas of light fog. It is likely you will see fog that is more dense along any bodies of water. High temperatures ranged from 84 in Lewisburg to 92 in Pineville yesterday. Unfortunately Bluefield was 3 degrees shy of a Lemonade Day. We will try to hit 90 today, but it is more likely we will be stuck in the upper 80s once more. We are still humid and will continue to be humid for most of the week. The atmosphere will be slightly more unstable for the day today so there is a chance for a pop up shower or storm to develop during the afternoon. Otherwise we will be mostly sunny and dry. We keep the warm air through the overnight hours with lows only falling into the upper 60s to low 70s. Tomorrow will be similar to today, but we will be a degree or two cooler. We increase the chance for a pop up shower or thunderstorm in the afternoon, but most of us will see mostly sunny and mainly dry conditions. Any showers that pop up will be short lived and only impact a small area. We do it all over again on Thursday and then we increase shower chances once more for Friday. We are still looking at nice days, but it is more likely a short-lived thunderstorm will pop up occasionally throughout the afternoon. Temperatures will cool down into the mid 80s (still quite warm if you ask me!). Saturday brings a shot of more widespread rainfall. A cold front will arrive Saturday afternoon and evening bringing heavier rain and the possibility of a few strong thunderstorms. Temperatures will still be in the low 80s, but will cool off by the next day. A few lingering showers are possible Sunday, but we will see gradual clearing.
