Good afternoon FB fam, friends, and associates. Yesterday, I - TopicsExpress

Good afternoon FB fam, friends, and associates. Yesterday, I shared from Genesis, chapter 39, highlighting the desperation of Mrs. Pharoah. Today, Im going to compare/contrast Pharoahs wife to the woman who had the issue of blood in St. Mark 5:25-28 in terms of their desperation. Both Mrs. Pharoah and the unnamed woman who had the issue of blood were DESPERATE. The difference is Mrs. Pharoahs desperation caused her to act dangerously, irrationally, and recklessly. The desperation of the woman who had the issue of blood, on the other hand, caused her to respond with a sense of urgency because the bible says she pressed her way through the crowd with a resolve that was firm and fixed. While Mrs. Pharoah, to a certain degree, was mentally ill, the woman with the issue of blood was physically ill. Pharoahs wife lack of mental capacity coupled with an evil desperation compelled her to be an attention-seeker of people by telling a lie in order to play the role of a victim. But the desperation of the woman who had the issue of blood caused her to be driven to get within arm reach of Christ just to touch Him. Get this! Mrs. Pharoah obsession and desperation for Joseph forced her to manufacture an episode of scandalous which she put herself in the starring role as a conniving and deceptive liar; a scheming and unfaithful wife; but most of all, as a scorned woman who is on the warpath and out to get Joseph because he didnt want her. Heres the lesson. Being desperate is not a bad thing when it compels you to act with a sense of urgency responsibly. It is a very dangerous thing, however, when a lack of mental capacity/stability pushes one to act dangerously, illogically, irresponsibly, and recklessly while trying to falsely portray yourself as a victim. #MentalHealthIsANecessity #DesperationCanBeGoodOrBad MEDITATE ON THAT!
