Good afternoon. I know this is out of topic but I just want to unburden myself and to vent out my sentiment to the president on leading the national day of prayer that will be held later. What does praying really mean? Is praying by mere invoking Gods name enough? What I understand is that when we pray, we are asking Gods help so that we can accomplish HIS WILL and NOT OUR WILL. He can see what is inside our hearts.....He knows who amongst us are sincere in fulfilling His will. This is the reason why only some of our prayers are answered and some are not. I just want to ask our president what are his real reasons why he wants to lead the national prayer. Every day, I have been keeping myself abreast with the events in our country especially on how our president and his minions are handling national issues. Each time, the government is showing arrogance in leadership. Is it Gods will for you to show your lack of empathy to our people who are victims of Pablo, Zamboanga siege, Bohol earthquake, Yolanda and Sendong? How about the farmers from Hacienda Luisita who, up to this day, are suffering harassment from your family? How about the constant persecution to your perceived foes? How about the passing on to the middle classes the burden of taxes because of your inability to curb corruption in customs and BIR? Havent you noticed that the nation is constantly being besieged by man made and natural calamities in your 3 year term? Your negativity, vindictiveness and arrogance have served as magnets for the unabated suffering to,our nation! No matter how many times you declare national days of prayer, God will not answer them unless you act according to His will! ITAGA NINYO PO IYAN SA BUMBUNAN NINYONG MATIGAS!
