Good afternoon! My house is slowly coming alive, but prayers sed, reading done ☺ Had another late nite, but it was fun...yes, time needs to slow dwn a bit today, cnt believe its abt time for my fren to go bac home 󾍀 But at least we get to spend and celebrate her day w/her 󾔗 Gettin ready to make Indian tacos...itll prolly be a laid bac day w/movies 󾌵 Blessed to be w/her ~ 󾔗Happy Birthday Cris 󾔗 God has a purpose behind ev problem. He uses circumstances to develop our character. In fact, He depends more on circumstances to make us lik Jesus than He depends on our reading the Bible. No one is immune to pain or insulated frm suffering, and no one gets to skate thru life problem-free. Life is a series of problems. Evtime you solve one, another is waiting to take its place. Not all of thm are big, but all are significant in Gods growth process for you. God uses problems to draw you closer to Him. The Bible says, the Lord is close to the broken hearted; He rescues those who are crushed in spirit. Your most profound and intimate experiences of worship will likely be in your darkest days ~ whn your heart is broken, whn you feel abandoned, whn youre out of options, whn the pain is great ~ and you turn to God alone. It is during suffering tht we learn to pray our most authentic, heartfelt, honest-to-God prayers. Whn were in pain, we dnt hav the energy for superficial prayers. We learn things abt God tht we cnt learn any other way. Problems force is to look to God and depend on Him instead of ourselves. Ev problem is a character-building opportunity, and the more difficult it is, the greater the potential for building spiritual muscle and moral fiber. Wht happens outwardly in your life is not as important as wht happens inside you. Your circumstances are temporary, but your character will last forevr. If you look at the world, youll be distressed; if you look w/in, youll be depressed; but if you look at Christ, youll be at rest. The secret of endurance is is to remember tht your pain is temporary but your reward will be eternal. Youll nvr kno tht God is all you need until God is all you got.
