Good afternoon everyone. Such a stressful disappointing day its been for us. The emergency appointment didnt happen because the clinic was too busy to see Israel and suggested bringing him to the ER. ABSOLUTELY NOT! With all the viruses and stomach bugs going around I will NOT put my children at risk for any illnesses or viruses, especially Israel as clearly he has enough going on. The Oncologist cannot make up her mind as to what she thinks it is. She actually told me today that now she doesnt believe its chemo related as it doesnt happen while the child is on the chemo, rather after theyve stopped it ... That is complete BS. I fully intend on sending a complaint to the head of the hospital, as too busy is a piss poor excuse and is unacceptable. They made me feel like my child doesnt matter, nor do his issues. This isnt the first time... But it WILL be the last. So, oncology has referred us to a dermatologist... Whom didnt even bother to call us with an appt for Friday like his oncologist said they would. Shocker. So, I emailed his oncologist and told her and also reiterated how disappointed I am. I took it upon myself to call an allergist, and even though they are booked thru the end of August, theyve managed to squeeze him in tomorrow in a cancelation spot. Thank goodness. I WILL find out what is wrong with my boy. I will no longer allow the oncologist or pediatrician sweep this under the rug. No more lets try this med, lets try that med, NO. No more masking!!! Find the damn problem!!! The pics are from this morning.. It has only progressed as the day has gone on. Please keep Israel in your thoughts and prayers. Weve got a week full of appointments to hopefully get to the bottom of what is plaguing him. God Bless ~ Mommy.
