Good afternoon from a beautiful warm and sunny day in Germany. Most of our guests are in Berlin with 600 plus on our private train to the city, they will be back in time for the German Deck party tonight. We have the Oompah band, we have the German sausages and we have three huge kegs of German beer. Plus as an addition we now have the famous German Stein glasses which we will sell full of beer to keep for $24 with a special price on refills. Anyway, should be a great party. I sometimes miss drinking beer and it has been 17 years since I have had one. Drinking and my job really does not go together and when I stopped drinking on ships I also stopped drinking on land. God, what a boring sod I sound. In my early days as a CD and when I had partaken of a few beers I would marshal my thoughts into a coherent sentence but they would come out as a steam of incoherent bollocks…….I sounded like someone from Japan trying to speak Klingon. Not good if you have an emergency situation in the middle of the night. This morning I met with two guests who did not like my George Bush joke, you know, the one I didn’t tell. Turns out I did……oops. It was during my travel talk for Berlin and I was talking about the Brandenburg Gate where President Kennedy famously said “ Ich Bin Ein Berliner.” I had mentioned that it was a brilliant and powerful speech that JFK had made although he may have had a George Bush moment because with his accent many Germans said that Ich bin ein Berliner meant “I am a jam doughnut.“ It was a nothing line and how nothing……………..well I had forgotten I had said it. I won’t be saying it again as it really upset these two guests who did though, I think, accept my apology. OK, ich bin sitter hier in mi underpanten und noo ich will poopen for das more Q and A
