Good afternoon parents! I wanted to take this time to talk to everyone about Save the Storks, an organization that we have been partnering with since June. Save the Storks is a faith-based organization with a heart for expectant mothers who are in crisis situations. They are a pro-life group trying to change the face of a lot of the negativity that some people think of when they hear pro-life. You can watch a short video of their mission below, and I also would encourage you to go to savethestorks to find out more. As part of our partnership, we as a youth group committed to contributing $4,200 over the course of a year (which is $350 a month) to help them put one of their Mobile Stork Buses in Silver Spring. Our offerings since June have been going to this cause, but we need your help. I know many times what we are doing on Sundays and Wednesdays never makes it home, so I wanted you to know what we are raising money for and where any money that you give your child is going. We still have a long way to go before we reach our goal, so any help you can provide would be great! And above all else, I ask that you pray for Save the Storks and the work that God is doing through them. Next time you are around the dinner table or in the car, ask your child about them and see what they can tell you. And if they dont know, then you can learn together! Thank you!
