Good afternoon prayer partners, I wanted to write a healing testimony and I need to include delicate details to help you to understand all that God has done and is continuing to do. On March 6th, I had to go to the Dr because I thought I had a boil in my private area. My Dr sent me to the emergency room because they did not want to risk the infection getting worse and said that I needed a surgeon. They did a cat scan with dye and it was not a boil, but had gone into an abscess and was terribly painful. This was in the area between both of my private parts. They took me into emergency surgery around midnight and I was finally discharged on March 11th. While I was in the hospital, they had to put a catheter in me because the infection had caused the bladder to spasm and it stopped working. They had problems keeping my oxygen up where it needed to be and my blood sugar was pretty high. I had been praying and on the 6th, I had called my Pastor who prayed with me. About 5 hours later, I felt led to go to the Dr. My Pastor came to the hospital and also called me to pray with me and to see me. What a blessing from the Lord he is! I talk to the Lord often and through this happening, I have not stopped. Each day when the pain would get bad, the Lord took it away. Each day He gave me a little more strength to walk and move around. When I go home, my son Mike took my hospital bed apart and put it in the living room so he could keep an eye on me and so that I could see him and watch some of my shows:) God has enabled me to get up easier each new day, and the day before yesterday He enabled me to slowly bend over! Glory to God! He has also enabled me to take my walker out back with my dog Max:) Then yesterday I went to see the surgeon who took both drains out and he said that it is healing real well. He said that there are two incisions. Then today, I went to the Urinary specialist who took the catheter out. They filled my bladder first with water to see if it was working. I knew by faith that it was because I knew that the Lord had healed me! I was able to walk to the bathroom and go! Thank-you Jesus! Now, I feel that I need to say something. Please, never take anything for granted. It has been such a blessing to be able to use the restroom again and to take a shower. You really dont think to much on some things until you are unable to do them. What caused this was Prednisone which the doctors said will cause infection and boils and then that with the diabetes caused me a lot of problems, but God is always with me, watching over me. I give Him all the praise, all the glory. I have missed all of you so much and I look forward to hearing from you. Have a blessed day.
