Good afternoon supporters!!!! Weve gotten an overwhelming response of NATIONAL support from news outlets, supporters and even family from ALL OVER THE WORLD for our lil Kyssi since she was granted her wish by The Texas Department of Public Safety (Region II) and the Houston Police Department to become a police officer on October 27, 2014. That day was above and beyond ANYTHING that I couldve ever imagined it being and an experience that not only Kyssi and mommy will never forget, but a day that everyone involved attended will never forget as well. There were so many different media outlets there that I could hardly keep up, but we pressed right on through it and it was a HUGE SUCCESS!!!! All Ive constantly prayed for was to be able to share our story, somehow make a difference for another family that is, will or that may know someone that is going through a similar, if not the same situation and to MAKE PEDIATRIC CANCER MORE OF A PRIORITY and to bring MORE AWARENESS. I knew that GOD placed me in this uncomfortable situation but HE also placed a DREAM in my heart. During the birth of my dream its been hard to move forward at times due to the Fight-to-WIN with Kyssi medically. Often times, Ive been discouraged, disappointed, set-back and often discounted but I still have the same prayer through adversity (which has been much much tougher than many know). I will remain patient, faithful and be anxious for nothing because I know and believe that GOD placed the desire to make a difference in Pediatric Cancer in my heart. Many have been able to see the story, some have not and others want to donate. Heres the requested information. I will follow this post with 4 more local news media stories. None of the stories are all the same....there are similarities but they all have their own twist to them. We are a REAL family, with a REAL story wanting to make a REAL difference..
