Good boy, Winton! The residents of Eagle Lake may have seen one of our newest K-9 teams, Master Deputy Sheriff Mike Ard and his partner Winton, tracking down 25-year-old Deondre Adams yesterday. Adams, who has a Polk County Warrant for Domestic Battery by Strangulation, Domestic Aggravated Assault, Armed False Imprisonment, Tampering With A Witness, and other charges, fled from PCSO, leaving behind his hat and shoes. Winton sniffed the hat and shoes, then sniffed his way to Adams, who was hiding under a house a few blocks way. Adams was arrested in 2006 for Armed Robbery and Aggravated Assault, and was sentenced to two years in prison for those crimes. Now hes back in jail on his most recent violent charges, thanks to Winton and Deputy Ard.
