Good burrrr Morning it is Friday, November 14, 2014. The current temperature here in WNC is 24 with wind chill temps in the teens. The fireplace kept us warm and toasty and we slept in a little! Down at the Homestead-Miami Speedway things will be heating up as Championship weekend is here! The triple-header weekend starts with Truck Race tonight, Nationwide Race tomorrow and the Big Sprint Cup Championship Race Sunday! God’s Speed, Protection and Wisdom to All! Today’s one word title for our characteristics of a Champion series on our Destiny Journey Road post is “Flexibility!” As usual we start with the dictionary definition and then build a Scriptural foundation to build on. Flexibility = “capable of bending or being bent.” We will choose a quite frequent mentioned weapon in the Bible of a “bow” (the bow can be bent and not break and releases an arrow that can take out the enemy’s attacks!). We will use an illustration of a man familiar with it’s use, the Psalmist/King David who makes mention of in Psalm 64. Let us mediate on David’s prayer, Psalm 64:1-4 & 7-10, “Hear my voice, O God, in my meditation; preserve my life from fear of the enemy. Hide me from the secret plots of the wicked, from the rebellion of the workers of iniquity, who sharpen their tongue like a sword, and bend their bows to shoot their arrows—bitter words, that they may shoot in secret at the blameless; suddenly they shoot at him and do not fear.” ~ vs 7-10, “But God shall shoot at them with an arrow; suddenly they shall be wounded. He will make them stumble over their own tongue; all who see them shall flee away. All men shall fear, and shall declare the work of God; for they shall wisely consider His doing. The righteous shall be glad in the Lord, and trust in Him. And all the upright in heart shall glory.” ~As Champions we have to be flexible to circumstances but not broken and separated from the God-given Vision! ~Blessed2Bless Others!
