Good bye cruel Net! This is the last week I have an Internet connection. I put up with appalling services from my provider for way too long and the new contracts from most companies are nothing short of a moral fraud. Dont accept anything from companies and dont consider normal what is not. My connection, whenever it decides to work, is slower than the one I had at work in the mid 90s. Since I got into my current contract, the price has increased and quality, despite being rock bottom, has gone lower and started digging. With the advances in technology, I should be able to enjoy a minimum guaranteed service at a higher speed than in the past (average of twice the speed of the previous 5 years at half the price). Now everybody advertise the maximum speed, but no mention about a guaranteed minimum speed below which your charge is dropped automatically. We buy mobile phones that are more powerful than personal computers of a few years ago and we consider it normal, but then why speed drops and prices go up, while service quality plummets? The more we are prepared to accept, the more monopoly they have, the worse our deals will become. Enough is enough. So long. Goodbye Internet. Well meet every now and then when I get hold of some connectivity. I wish you a broadband-speedy recovery.
