Good day! We from the Medical Team would like to take in action to be more cautious in monitoring all First Aid Cases from our Project, thus maintaining a reliable and genuine record keeping. In reference with the above mention subject, some pointers and clarifications would like to consider. We are aware that all cases may / may not be work-related in origin, so if a case is a work-related it may / may not be classified as FIRST AID. Therefore, how can we classify that a given case is considered a FIRST AID CASE, thus are there any determinants needed to consider to record it as First Aid. Herewith the following given situations for further evaluation. If a case or complaint of a patient origins from site or workplace, do we consider this as first aid? SCENARIO 1: Carpenter having muscle pain due to repetitive pounding or hammering. SCENARIO 2: Carpenter having muscle pain due to the strong impact of steel. If a case or complaint of a patient is secondary to environmental factors yet it happened in workplace, do we consider this first aid? SCENARIO 1: Labor having eye irritation due to welding debris. SCENARIO 2: Labor having eye irritation due to sand storm.
