In recent CM Punk news : During promotion for UFC 169 last night, Dana White talked CM Punk quitting WWE and whether hes talked to him about fighting for UFC at some point. Dana mentioned that he recently spent time with Punk in Chicago, but that Punk never said a word about leaving WWE or fighting for him. As far as CM Punk joining UFC in the future, White thinks its a little late for him, but doesnt complete slam the possibility. BJPenn posted the quotes from Dana Whites talk of CM Punk: He quit [the WWE]? Really? No, he hasn’t said a word to me [about fighting in the UFC]. He hasnt reached out to me. I was with him all night in Chicago, he never said a word about it. He just showed up. We talked about a lot of things, fighting was not one of them. I like him, hes a great guy. Its a little late to get into the game, but who knows if he can fight? I dont know. Well see what happens, but I like him a lot. Hes a nice guy. One half of the WWE Tag Team Champions, BG Road Dogg James, recently took to Twitter referencing the recent CM Punk departure with somewhat of a cryptic message. Road Dogg said: Hogan left, Rock left, Austin left, HBK left…. Theses were huge stars! Superstars come and go, the show must go on! U wait on the future James later followed up, mentioning that emotions are involved with situations like these, but its unclear whether James was referring to Punks emotions or his own. James said: Dont overthink my last tweet. Human emotions are involved and theyre always unpredictable. We should all be able to understand that.
