Good does come out of bad. Having sat in A&E at Moorfields for the best part of the day with Stephen who coincidentally threw a ball for the dogs this morning and had it bounce and rip his cornea very badly (good job it wasnt his other eye where he recently had a corneal replacement) I was able to listen to an entire Savoy Opera (The Mikado), the one and only decent song from The Secret Garden (Lillys Eyes...no pun intended), Bohemian Rhapsody, the whole of Oklahoma and Your Raise Me Up by Westlife. On a downside the person in the hospital waiting room sitting to me on my right had no concept of personal space and sat jigging like someone with an advanced case of Saint Vitus Dance for over an hour. Then to cap it all when he moved some other fidgeting bastard with consumption who was coughing his lungs up sat next to me when the first twat left. Bottle of wine number two is chilling nicely in the fridge!
