Good evening, Comrades. :D To those who tagged me, here is my response. 20 FACTS ABOUT ME. 1. My name, JAMAAL, is not of biblical origin. The question if it is of Arabic roots is something I cannot answer. Nonetheless, it means Beautiful/beauty or handsome. Im not assuming it nor am I saying that I am. :D 2. I do not like being called by the second syllable of my name, MAAL. It sounds eccentric. JAM or JAMAAL will do fine. 3. My family name, OMAMALIN, is not Islamic. As what I was told, my family name came from a Bisaya term MAMALING or to go fishing. Since my family roots came from Carcar City and San Fernando. 4. I enjoy baking and cooking. Skills which came from my grandparents on both my moms and dads sides. 5. Education has been my choice of course and profession since third year high school. But, before that came to be, I had thought of taking up Culinary Arts or Political Science. 6. Social Science has been my choice of major since high school. It came to be not because of my teacher in Aral. Pan., but because I have a deep interest in the history of society, and how it came to be. 7. I seldom throw old documents, even scratch papers. So, if you see that my backpack is full of it, dont be surprised. 8. I am fond of purchasing journals or binders. I buy them, but I seldom use them. 9. I find pleasure in the presence of cooking utensils, especially in the home section in malls. 10. Im not really a people person. But, I am doing my best to become one. 11. During my free time, I usually list down my Things to do, or watch documentaries, listen to classical music, or make up stories for a person passing by. 12. I havent had any intimate relationships since elementary. But, I do have/had crushes. 13. I am not Muslim. I am Catholic. But, I dont consider myself a full devotee to the Christian faith. Personally, I find religion as a cause of human conflict. But, I do believe in the Divine. 14. People observe or have observed that my vocabulary is quite wide, but I do not read books for recreation. When I read novels or pocket books, I only read 1 page or 2 pages. I only read books when Im required to. 15. When Im doing nothing, I usually philosophize about the world, life, society, man, etc. I find it quite amusing. 16. I look and act very seriously. But, if Im in the company of noisy, mischievous, and crazy people, I tell you I could be more intense than those who I am with. 17. I have a TYPE A personality. I am a perfectionist, and a very rigid person. But, I try to be flexible and tolerant. 18. I enjoy doing speeches and reporting. I find bliss in talking and in expressing my ideas. 19. I give great value to my friends and family. Though it isnt very obvious, I constantly think about their welfare and safety. 20. I am fat. :D
