Good evening, FB Family. Whew, I had a long but productive, eye-opening day today. I went to this free class @ 9 am called California Friendly Landscape Training which taught us how to use plants native to CA such as cactus, lavenders, rosemary, etc. instead of lawns that waste water especially since Cali is in a SERIOUS drought! We learned about water conservation, irrigation systems, how to compost, how plant life regenerates in the proper environment. Im very knowledge able after today from being completely ignorant about these things before! One piece of disturbing info we got was that all of our plastics which dont degrade & our trash is piled so high & wide in the Pacific Ocean that is the size of Texas twice! Truth be told, we really have no RESPECT for Mother Earth which God created and when we dont respect Mother Earth, we ultimately dont respect ourselves, each other or God for HUMANS come from the Earth.
