Good evening! Here is the latest with the impending Christmas - TopicsExpress

Good evening! Here is the latest with the impending Christmas storm. Tomorrow will be a cloudy day, with the risk of some showers. Then the more persistent rain will begin tomorrow either later in the afternoon or into the evening. The exact timing will be more clear tomorrow. Then the rain will spread across the province, and we could have rain and times heavy and the winds will begin to ramp up. Christmas day looks rainy and windy with the storm clearing out overnight into boxing day. It is possible we could have wind gusts between 80-100km/h and stronger in the Les Suetes wind. A wind warning is issued when gusts of 90km/h or more are expected. We will have to see what Environment Canada issues. As for rainfall amounts, it looks like we will see a general 30-60mm, although in some local heavier downpours, I wouldnt be surprised if some areas picked upwards of 75mm. Rainfall warnings for winter are issued when 25mm or more of rain is expected in 24 hours, we will see what Environment Canada issues tomorrow! Thats the latest! I will have my final thoughts tomorrow along with my projected rainfall maps.
