Good evening It has been a minute since I posted and I wanted you to know that prayer is a powerful analgesic to the stresses and strains of life. My sweet husband has been sick and I have experienced a variety of emotions along with fatigue, apprehension, and the occasional why us? Aspirin, alleve, excedrin and even loratab has not alleviated either of our pains but prayer has provided relief in so many different ways. As aspirin soothes the rantings of mind immersed in high fever prayer has taken captive every runaway thought immersed in fear. As alleve soothes the aches of the strained muscle, prayer has soothed the strain of every dollar that has been stretched to the point of lack to the point of provision. As loratab lulls the body and mind into a drug induced sleep, prayer has provided the perfect peace that allows us to truly sleep in the care of a father that neither slumber a or sleeps.
