Good evening! Two and half very emotional and hard weeks passed - TopicsExpress

Good evening! Two and half very emotional and hard weeks passed by. We were praying, crying, cleaning and taking care of the animals, while also visiting the owner at the hospital. Trying to bring them all back to life in happiness, with all our capacity and time. As we had received a call from one of our neighbors and friend (an agent), with the highest emergency priority, we were not prepared and did not expect the outcome which we discovered a few minutes after our arrival. He had been living alone with 7 animals for over three months in his villa. He was unable to walk and take care of himself nor let the animals out. They had been in the house for at least two months. The house and his tenant were both in a terrible condition. We were shocked at the sight of the villa, all the animals came walking up to us. We have had 7 terrible starved animals in critical condition! After helping out with stabilisation of the tenant, he was brought to the hospitals emergency. While we were re-hydrating the animals: Altogether 4 cats and 3 dogs. We bathed them, you could tell they were only skin and bones. A vet appointment for all was organized and all pets got the first check up and medical treatment. They also got professional medicated bath, grooming and 2 of the cats a lion cut, as the fur were in very bad conditions. From then on we were trying to give them all our love, attention and continuously trying to bring them back to good shape. We had also been working on foster or adoption places for our new babies. We got in contact to old mates of the tenant and found lovely support over these tragic times! These ladies were so very heart-full, help-full and supported us financially and emotionally in this hard time! The vet bills were covered by them and we got a lot of lovely support during our hardest moments in this Project. THANK YOU for all this love we got! Our English gentleman is being discharged from the hospital after 8 days in the intensive care unit and two days in a regular room. This was again very emotional to see his progress-in this time-knowing he was on his last hours as previously found! Our new babies gave us so very much appreciation in this time and were very thankful. They gained weight and their appetite was not to stop! We fell in love with each of them! The medical problems were solved after 10 days. Foster and adoption homes were found with huge help of some of our neighbor friends and our supporters! Yesterday our new friend has returned to England. The agent/friend/neighbour came along as his company to England (What a kind gesture!), as he is not able to take care of him self - and still needs to continue his medical treatment. We will miss him, and wish him all the best! TODAY we finally were able to bring the last cats to the new homes! There are some very amazing people involved in the Project -Help for human/animals in need! We want to thank all of them from the bottom of our hearts and a special thank you is going to all foster/adoption parents out there! They fostered the beloved animals which got in need due to a private tragedy and illness of their owner! God Bless you all and thank you for your loyality, and patience with us in these times of fewer posts!
