Good evening Warriors!! It was an early morning for Ryan today, they had him up at 7 am to start therapy. He did Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy and Speech Therapy. He did great at all 3, he lifted himself up with his right arm, he was also given an ice chip that he absolutely LOVED, he chewed it and swallowed it, his face when the therapist put it in his mouth was priceless, after 3 weeks of nothing to eat or drink Im sure it was amazing. They will be soon downsizing his trach which is the next step before being able to cap it, he wont be able to talk until it is capped. He was a lot more alert today for much longer then he has been, that was so nice to see. Ryan had a good first full day of rehab, he will have many, many more good days, just as we know there will be bad days. Those bad days are the ones that we will give him an extra boost of encouragement. Thank you for your continued prayers. Rose
